Tondelweb is a sole proprietorship run by Lucas L in Blacksburg, Virginia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through tondelweb.com, through our emails and through our custom-website service, Tondelweb Websites.

What we collect

When you use our website

• Contact form: your name, email, company or website, and message. The form is processed by Formspree, which emails it to us.
• Booking a call: your name, email and the details you enter. Bookings go through our scheduling tool and Google Calendar.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We see your name, email, what you bought and whether payment succeeded. We never see your full card number.
• Basic technical data: like any website, our host (GitHub Pages) and our font provider (Google Fonts) receive your IP address and browser details when you load a page. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

When we contact businesses We may email businesses using contact details they publish themselves: a company's public email address, website or business listing. These are business-to-business emails about one of our services.

• Every email includes our postal address and a way to opt out.
• If you reply "no thanks" to any Tondelweb email, no Tondelweb service will email you again. We record your email address on a do-not-contact list so we can honor that.

When you're a client We handle the files and information needed for your service, as described in our Data Handling Policy (part of our service agreement), for example the text, photos and logos for your website.

How we use it

• To reply to you, schedule calls and provide the services you ask for.
• To send invoices and receipts.
• To send occasional business emails, which you can opt out of anytime.
• To keep records the law requires.

We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that help us run Tondelweb, and only for that purpose:

• Google (email, calendar)
• Stripe (payments)
• Formspree (contact form)
• our scheduling tool
• GitHub (website hosting)
• Zoom (demo calls)
• Anthropic (AI tools we use to help build websites, with human review)

We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Inquiries: up to 2 years.
• Do-not-contact entries: permanently, so we keep honoring them.
• Client files: for the periods in our Data Handling Policy .
• Financial records: as long as tax law requires.

Security

• Client files are stored on encrypted devices and access-controlled accounts.
• Our accounts use two-step login.
• No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we'll tell you as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct it;
• delete it;
• stop emailing you.

Children

Our website and services are for businesses. They aren't directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes
